TRIP OPTIONS
Kicking Horse Powder Tours offer single and multiday guided backcountry excursions in the Kicking Horse Country area as well as to nearby resorts including Lake Louse, Sunshine and Revelstoke.
In addition, we organise single night hut trips, multi day backcountry tours and classic "Powder Highway" Tours seeking out the best snow conditions around.
We offer sled skiing trips, single and multi day Cat Skiing excursions and Heli Skiing trips...
....the list is endless!
Group sizes are usually a maximum of six people, although we can work with up to eight people. As a minimum you will need to be a good intermediate skier or boarder and resonably fit.
Travelling as part of a small group, you will hike and ski tour in the backcountry to access into ski terrain that provides some fantastic powder skiing. The day will see you ski 3 or 4 big lines with lunch being taken as we go.
More of the same but with the ability to explore more areas, progress further each day and find all the secret lines and hidden stashes there are.
A similar agenda as Single day trips but with day visits to other surrounding resorts, including Revelstoke and Lake Louise.
Snowmobile Access Ski Touring
Adrenalin Decents have rights for sled accessed ski touring to to over 11,000 hectares of potential powder skiing. With the use of a powerful, fuel efficient snowmachine, we provide easy access guiding and backcountry programs and we guarantee that this will be the best quality snow to be found in the area. This expansive terrain will provide many years of exciting skiing and riding to come.
Let's go - we take the snowmobile and provisions and get out into the wilderness! Staying in backcountry huts you will get away from it all and really get into mountain life. We can organise this in the Kicking Horse Country area as part of your Kicking Horse trip, or as a stand alone trip away from home base.
Located in the Kootenay Rockies region in southwest British Columbia The Powder Highway has one of the world's highest densities of ski operations, with over 50 along the 530-mile loop. There are eight alpine resorts and oodles of backcountry skiing.
We take the group, the sled and the gear and we go on the road! We plan your trip based on where the best snow is within the Powder Highway area and organise accommodation along the way.

Our association with our local providers means we can offer single and multi day Cat Skiing Trips within easy reach of the Kicking Horse area.

Great Canadian Heli Skiing, we offer single and multiple day cat-skiing and heli-skiing trips. You tell us your requirements and we can organise it.
Being guided doesn't have to be about just following. Our guides are always keen to share their knowledge about the backcountry and how to travel through it safely so you will come away with a better understanding of your environment. But if you want more than that do offer avalanche skills training courses as part of your ski touring trip so you can come away with some qualifications as well.
